You CAN work from anywhere

When I was 27 years old, I was MAD BUSY running a six figure marketing agency and a six figure recruitment company, both of which I’d started from scratch just a few years earlier.

 

I remember writing in a journal one night; “I wish I had the freedom to sit in coffee shops and write”.

 

I didn’t mean full time! I just meant for an hour a week. Ha. Not a big ask but it felt impossible!! I wouldn’t let myself for one and I hadn’t set up my businesses that way either.

 

I was so central to the operations that I had to be ‘in the office’ and available the whole time.

 

With Dare To Grow I decided to do something different. I decided I did want to write and create content and travel…not just in the UK but anywhere in the world.

 

Because it’s possible. If you decide that’s what you want and then build an infrastructure to allow it.

 

So, what does that mean? Well, here are some things I’ve done to help me experience that freedom:

 

Top hacks:

 

I only coach my clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as a rule. They’re my coaching days. The rest of time is mine to grow, explore, travel and work onnnnn my business.

 

I’m building a team to help me with all this content. We’ve got Matt editing videos (he’s amazing!) and I’m hiring a marketing manager and a VA.

 

I’ve got a team of freelancers helping on everyday challenges, like a developer and a graphic designer.

 

I never answer my phone if someone calls me. I let it go to voicemail and ask them to email or text me. That way I stay in control of my time and focus.

 

I built an online course meaning I can help hundreds of people remotely, from anywhere in the world.

 

But most importantly I just decided: This is how I want to live my life and I started again to make that possible.
