BEHIND THE SCENES AT ALICE’S WEEKEND LONG BE RETREAT [VLOG #140]

Three years ago, Alice said to me: “Lisa, I’m going to run the world’s leading retreats for women”. I knew right then it was true; it had already happened. I then sat back and watched as Alice began her journey.

She started with spa parties in people’s homes, putting on candles, burning insence and providing spa treats…mixed with a little coaching in conversation as she helped women find their voice and reconnect to their truth.

Last year, she took things up a level and booked out a luxury venue near Northallerton to run full day retreats. There was yoga, meditation and guided visualisations. Alice provided a vegan lunch and herbal teas throughout the day and held space for 15 women to BE themselves. The retreats were incredible. There was something about the space Alice created that helped us all open up and reconnect with ourselves. The bar had been raised.

And then this weekend, Alice made her move. She put on a 72 hour weekend retreat in luxury 5* cottages in The Lake District. She hosted 18 women in a weekend of self love and rejuvenation. No detail was missed and I sat back and watched in awe as everything she’d learnt over the last few years came into play. I looked on as she led workshops, guided people through mediations, oversaw the vegan catering and brought in world class teachers to guide us all on a journey of self love and rejuvenation.

The event was out of this world. It was incredible. It was world class.

We all laughed and cried and found a space for healing. We got lucky with the weather too, which made the whole event feel like a mini holiday abroad.

I’ve tried my best to capture part of the event in today’s vlog but honestly, this does not do it justice.

There are more events coming soon so if you watch this and think ‘Wow, I gotta get to the next one’, sign up to Alice’s newsletter – weekly Love Mail – as she opens them up to the waiting before she shares them publically.
